In 1982, God raised up a faithful servant, Pastor Franklin Mkomba, who established Zomba Church on the solid foundation of the Message of the Hour as delivered through God's prophet, William Marrion Branham. His unwavering dedication to truth and his love for God's people established a lighthouse in Zomba that continues to shine today.

Pastor Mkomba was a man of vision and faith. His life was a testimony of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering belief in the Word. He fought the good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith. Now he rests with the Lord, awaiting that glorious resurrection morning.

Under the faithful shepherding of Pastor Tsoka, Zomba Church continues to stand firm on the revelation of Jesus Christ. Pastor Tsoka carries forward the vision of our beloved founder, ensuring that the Message remains pure and that God's people are fed with spiritual food in due season.

With wisdom and grace, Pastor Tsoka leads this congregation, teaching the uncompromised Word of God and preparing a Bride for the coming of the Lord. His commitment to the Message and his care for the flock exemplify the heart of a true shepherd.

Our Story

Since 1982

Zomba Church was born out of a divine calling in 1982, when Pastor Franklin Mkomba received the call to come and pastor in Zomba. At a time when confusion reigned in religious circles, God placed it in his heart to establish a church that would hold fast to the original apostolic faith as revealed through the ministry of William Marrion Branham.

For over four decades, Zomba Church has stood as a pillar and ground of truth in Malawi. Through the faithful preaching of the Word, countless souls have been saved, believers have been sanctified, and saints have been filled with the Holy Ghost. We have witnessed miracles, signs, and wonders as God confirms His Word with signs following.

Today, under the leadership of Pastor Tsoka, we continue the legacy established by our founder. We remain committed to the Message, steadfast in faith, and looking forward to that blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Message of the Hour

William Marrion Branham

We believe that God sent a prophet in this last age, William Marrion Branham, whose ministry from 1933 to 1965 restored the apostolic faith and revealed the mysteries of God. Through signs, wonders, and miracles, God confirmed his ministry, and through the preached Word, he called believers back to the original message of the apostles.

The Message of the Hour is not a denomination or organization, but a return to the Word of God in its purity. It is the Bride preparing herself for the coming of the Bridegroom. At Zomba Church, we stand firmly on this revelation, believing that God has shown us His will for this age.

"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD" - Malachi 4:5
